Green Card Lottery Process

Green Card Lottery Registration opens on the first Wednesday of October  12pm EDT (GMT -4) to the second Tuesday of  November  12pm EST (GMT-5) for millions of nationalities around the globe for a chance to apply for the American visa to become a U.S. legal permanent resident (green card holder).

Natives of  countries and areas are not eligible to apply, because more than 50,000 natives of these countries immigrated to the United States in the previous five years will be published.

*If your country is not shown on this list, then your country might be eligible. The only exception is U.S.A.*

Every year, thousands of entrants get frustrated with website crashes experienced on the state department’s lottery entry site and  Thousands of make costly mistakes on their registrations because they have not written down the correct information needed for filling their registration.

Wofoy TV has created a checklist to solve this problem. This  checklist form is to be used to collect the information needed to fill out the diversity visa application.

Each  DV applicant must meet the education/work experience
requirement of the DV program by having either:
• at least a high school education or its equivalent, defined as successful
completion of a 12-year course of formal elementary and secondary
education

“Formal course of elementary and secondary education in another country that is comparable to completion of 12 years of elementary and secondary education in the United States.  A United States high school education is sufficient to qualify a student to apply for college admission so a foreign education should also be sufficient to allow a student to apply for college admission without further education to be equivalent to a United States education.  Vocational degrees that are not a basis for further academic study are not equivalent to United States high school education.”

All applicants qualifying for a DV based on their work experience must, within the five years preceding the date of their visa application, have two years of experience in an occupation that is classified in a Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) range of 7.0 or higher.
